36 Bottles Winesmiths

This project has been a challenge and a joy to work on. The brand, including the name, was created form scratch. The end result is a credit to our clients, who have placed great trust in us to interpret their brand's personality. This has resulted in a strong, distinctive and unified identity. A brand which is slightly unexpected.

The concept was developed from interviews and workshops with the clients and focusses on their artisan heritage. Hence the term winesmith, which is applied visually as a guild mark. We constructed a series still life's, imaginary spaces to express the brand's personality. These still lifes were beautifully photographed by Dean Zillwood. They form the basis of the brand and feature on all labels, collateral and on the website.
