The newly established Gillies Group had two major challenges for us. Firstly they needed a brand strategy and design to reflect the diverse range of property services they offered - from dealing with tenants and everyday rental upkeep, to bespoke portfolio advice for professional investors. Secondly they had to distance themselves from the negative perceptions of the real estate industry.
We set about understanding their company, their founding philosophies and their future aspirations. We also spoke to their market to appreciate the qualities their customers were seeking.
We then recommended we produced a Brand Blueprint - a document to define
their company story, their look, their style, their language and their behaviour.
It was to be their ‘bible’, something they could refer to over
the years to ensure all communications had a common voice.
Visually we developed a flexible brand which could be tailored to look more ‘financial’ for the experienced investor or more ‘personal’ for the mum and dad market. We recommended a ‘up-front’ and ‘straight-up’ approach to language and photography so as to reassure audiences that the Gillies Group is a company of integrity.
